The client is an OTT platform with a strong mobile app presence, boasting over 5 million downloads on the Play Store. Despite their app's success, they struggled with search discoverability, relying heavily on ads to drive web traffic.

Our Role:

As their growth partners, we were tasked with improving the client's search visibility, particularly for their shows, ensuring they ranked when users searched for them on Google.

Challenges:

• Despite a large user base, the site lacked visibility in search results, with no rankings for the shows available on the platform.

• The client's site had significant technical SEO problems, leading to only the homepage being indexed by Google, while show and episode pages were entirely unindexed.

Solutions:

• We updated content and Metadata descriptions for show and episode pages, focusing on how users searched for these shows.

• Identified high-demand shows and tailored content to match user search behavior, resulting in an immediate spike in traffic and steady growth.

• We did a complete technical SEO audit and thoroughly analyzed the underlying technical issues and coordinated with the tech team to resolve them.
